As an international patient, we understand you may have additional practical concerns regarding your stay in India for your surgery. Therefore we are able to offer a comprehensive support package for patients travelling from overseas.
If you require a medical visa to enter the India we are able to support your application by advising you of the documentation you need to complete. We will also provide you with a letter confirming your surgery, ensuring that all the information required to support your visa application is included.
We can assist you with recommendations for transfer from the airport to your place of stay in India. The cost of the transfers is dependent upon which airport you use and where you are staying, so once you provide this information we can advise you accordingly.
If you are not sure where to stay we can suggest you some recommendations for you to be accommodated close by, as per your comfort and preference. For any help with your stay, feel free to let us know.
Once you have arrived in India, you will need to have pre-assessment tests in advance of your surgery. To make this as convenient a process as possible, Mr Ramakrishnan has arranged for his patients to be seen at specific hospitals where he is currently consulting, so that all the required tests can be undertaken on the same day. These can include a pre-anaesthetic consultation, a CT scan, blood tests, blood pressure etc. You will be notified of the date of this pre-assessment hospital visit prior to arriving in India.
Once you have been discharged from hospital following your surgery, it is appreciated you may have questions and concerns that arise in between your follow-up clinic visits. Mr Ramakrishnan is happy to offer telephone consultations to answer any questions you may have.
